I recommend to all my dirty girls who love the villains in a story. Camille's situation is not ideal and beyond crazy, but she can't deny how true his words ring and what is in her heart. OMG the heat between those two was scorching. But beyond that it was so amazing how Sebastian knew the real Camille, the one she hid and how she was so drawn to his darkness, but tried so hard not to give in to it. It was great seeing her understand the complexity of his way of thinking, since he obviously isn't wired like normal people. I love that he's so direct and he lays everything out there for Camille.
He was unlike any other male character I've ever read and that's what interested me the most. So not to spoil too much of this book so I won't delve into the plot too much, but let me tell you that I absolutely loved Sebastian. She wakes to find herself a prisoner to the man she can't stop thinking about and he's not what she expected.
Camille gets the chance of a lifetime to go on an expedition to the Amazon to do research, but imagine her surprise when she steps into the limo to find Sebastian sitting in the back. Camille is immediately drawn to Sebastian and can't get him out of her head. She attends a work event with her overly doting boyfriend Link where she meets his boss Sebastian. This is a story about Camille who is a biology teacher with a particular love for botany. Yes, that says a whole lot about me loving a man who kidnaps a woman to make her fall in love with him, but I've never been the type for pretty fairy-tales. I mean holy (insert swear) Sebastian is probably the scariest, hottest, and craziest character I have ever read and I freaking loved it. I was hooked to this story from the beginning and devoured it in one day. The Bad Guy is a dark and twisted fantasy come to life. The Bad Guy is about a psycho and he has his eyes set on Camille Briarlane. This book is not about a white knight, its not about a good man, or a normal man. Sebastian Lindstrom is the villain every girl wants to fall for and he has ensnared me in his sick and twisted trap and the darkness has completely taken me over. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book for review.
